More about the process:

Goodmark's lab created diamonds are made in a process referred to as High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT)–which is an advanced yet durable process for creating lab grown diamonds. It allows the crystals to grow in 14 different directions, so that the light refraction, brilliance, and color you expect from a traditionally mined diamond is intact.

Goodmark's colored gemstones are created in a different process known as recrystallization, in which the gemstones are purified in a solvent to form a flawless stone. The process is possible because we use what is referred to as "natural wastage" of sourced rough. The seed is to be cleaned, polished and then recrystallized to ultimately form into a brilliant gemstone. Lab grown gemstones are created in a fraction of the time and do not require an excess amount of energy- drastically reducing the impact on the environment. They look, endure, and feel exactly the same because, well, they are!
